Christine (Jenny) Jeon, NP-C, has been led by the desire to help people achieve greater health which is what brought her to the field of nursing. Originally from Tampa, Florida. She received her Bachelors of Science in Health Education and Nursing from the University of Florida in Gainesville. After working as an RN at North Florida Regional Medical Center in an Oncology setting for a year, she made her way to Atlanta, Georgia to attend Emory University for her Masters in Nursing. While attending graduate school, she continued to work as an RN at Emory University Hospital with Surgical Oncology patients.
When asked what she enjoys most about working as part of the Optimum Health team, she replied, “ I like the integrative health model because it’s different than a primary care. We use different approaches to determine the root cause of the problem instead of covering symptoms like a bandaid. I like that we are able to spend more time with the patients and it really does become more of a comfortable, family-like atmosphere”.
When she is not working, she enjoys volunteering at her church, playing guitar, listening to music, exercising, and finding good and unusual food in the metro Atlanta area.
